The Mesquita Bookends bring together two porcelain pieces with dark bases and monkey figures in a crouched pose. Besides keeping books aligned on a shelf, sideboard or office desk, the pair adds a figurative decorative element. Each piece measures 19 x 12 x 20 cm and the set weighs 1.57 kg.
The set works both as a support for books and as a decorative object. The figures have volume, a glossy finish and contrast between light and brownish tones, creating visual presence even when used with a small number of books.
The two pieces form a complementary pair designed to frame books between the ends. The dark base reinforces the outline of the sculptures and helps the set integrate with wooden furniture, light surfaces or office compositions.
Suitable for shelves, sideboards, niches and office desks. For cleaning, use a dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products and prolonged immersion to preserve the porcelain surface.
