The Nara decorative vase pairs matte olive glass with a distinctive silhouette: a rounded lower body and an elongated upper section. Its sandblasted surface softens the light, while its generous proportions bring height and volume to sideboards, console tables and side tables.
Displayed on its own, the vase acts as a sculptural focal point. It also works with dried branches, artificial foliage and sculptural arrangements. The narrow junction between the two sections gives the outline a lighter feel, balancing the rounded lower body without diminishing the scale of the piece.
The matte finish reduces strong reflections, allowing the olive tone to appear softer in a room. A full, rounded base contrasts with the cleaner lines of the cylindrical upper section, which opens out slightly toward the top. These contrasting forms give the vase its sculptural character, with the slim connection between them defining its profile.
Use Nara in an entryway, living room or decorative corner where height is part of the arrangement. It can also sit on a dining room sideboard or within a generously sized shelving compartment. Its scale allows it to stand alone rather than relying on an arrangement to create a focal point. Given its size and 15 kg weight, place it directly on a firm, stable surface.
Wash by hand and handle carefully. Avoid sudden temperature changes. As this is a glass piece, keep it on a level surface and protect it from knocks, both while on display and when moving it.
