The Han III Cachepot is hand-painted porcelain, with columns of blue ideograms and terracotta seals. It is a cachepot: the plant stays in its own pot inside, while the porcelain remains on show.
With a 62 cm diameter and 42 cm height, it is a floor piece for entryways, large living rooms and covered verandas. The size suits palms and ficus in medium to large pots.
The same painting is available in sizes I, II, III and IV, allowing you to group different heights in an entry or on a covered veranda.
The Han line covers the porcelain with columns of blue, hand-painted ideograms from top to bottom, like a page of calligraphy. Among them, terracotta seals and characters break up the blue and stand out from a distance.
Near the rim, blue flowers and foliage form a band around the piece; at the base, a wave frieze completes the design. The rim is wide, flared outward and also painted, and stays visible when the cachepot is on the floor or on a low piece of furniture.
Because it is hand-painted, the stroke and placement of the motifs vary slightly from one piece to another.
Before choosing, measure the plant pot: it must be narrower than the cachepot’s rim, with clearance to fit and remove without scraping the painted edge.
At 28 kg empty, place the cachepot in its final position before inserting the plant. To move it, two people should lift from the base, not by the rim.
Wipe with a soft cloth, dry or slightly damp, and avoid abrasive cleaners and rough sponges that can scratch the painting. Porcelain is hard but does not resist impact: protect the piece from knocks when moving nearby furniture.
Use a saucer under the plant pot so watering does not pool at the bottom of the cachepot. On wood floors, felt under the base protects the surface.
The recommended use is as a cachepot: the plant stays in its own pot, with a saucer, and the set goes inside the porcelain. This keeps watering away from the piece and makes plant changes simple.
The cachepot has a 62 cm external diameter and 42 cm height. Choose a pot narrower than the rim and up to the rim height, leaving clearance to fit.
It is intended for indoor spaces and covered verandas.
The painting is done by hand, so there are small variations in the drawing from one piece to another. The pattern, colors and measurements are the same.
