The Indiana II Decorative Lantern brings notable scale and a warm gold finish to a vertical, sculptural form. Its alpaca metal body is perforated and embossed with a repeating geometric pattern, enriching the surface and adding finely detailed texture to the composition. At 57 cm tall, it works on consoles, entryways, side tables and other spots that call for decorative volume with an artisanal read.
The closed silhouette and broad base convey solidity, while the gold tone pairs easily with wood, stone, glass and natural-hued textiles. Recommended for interior settings and covered verandas, where its worked surface adds presence without requiring a large footprint.
Made of gold alpaca metal, the lantern combines a substantial structure with a worked surface. Perforations distributed across the body create a continuous texture, while the repeated circular relief emphasizes the piece’s ornamental character and lends a crafted, hand-worked reading to the design.
The tall profile, with a rounded top and a square base, favors arrangements that need height in the visual field without demanding much width. This verticality helps balance trays, low vases and other horizontal objects, introducing height while keeping a contained footprint that sits neatly on consoles and side tables.
These proportions allow the piece to serve as a decorative anchor in an entry hall, on a console or sideboard, in the living room, or on a covered balcony. The height stands out in the composition, while the 36 × 36 cm base calls for a surface with ample area to hold it comfortably. At 2.4 kg, it feels substantial in hand yet remains easy to reposition during styling.
For cleaning, use a dry cloth. Avoid contact with water, abrasive materials and chemical products to preserve the finish over time.
