The Coplan Side Table combines a circular marble top, a gold-finish metal stem and a fluted conical base. At 70 cm high and 31 cm wide, it is a slim piece designed to sit close to sofas, armchairs and chaises, offering a useful surface without taking up much floor space.
The composition plays with contrasts of materials and proportions: the light-toned top brings a mineral presence, the slender metal column elongates the silhouette, and the vertically ribbed base concentrates volume at the bottom, giving the set a light read.
The round marble top creates a clean surface for a book, a glass or a decorative object. The gold-finish metal stem links the top to the base and emphasizes the piece’s verticality.
The conical base is fluted all around, adding texture and rhythm to the design. This detail distinguishes the table even in pared-back arrangements and helps balance the smooth top with a more pronounced lower section.
With a compact diameter and taller height, Coplan works well at the side of seating where the table needs to meet the arm line of a sofa or an armchair.
For the top, use a soft dry cloth or a slightly damp cloth, then dry. Wipe spills promptly and avoid acidic, abrasive or solvent products.
On the metal parts, use a soft dry cloth. When moving the table, lift it instead of dragging it across the floor.
