The Han I Cachepot is hand-painted porcelain, with columns of blue ideograms and terracotta seals. It is a cachepot: place the plant in its own pot inside, while the porcelain stays on display.
At 41 cm in diameter and 25 cm high, it sits well on consoles, benches and large side tables, and on the floor it works beside an armchair. The size fits orchids, ferns and foliage in small to medium pots.
The same decoration is available in sizes I, II, III and IV, letting you group different heights in an entryway or a covered veranda.
The Han line covers the porcelain with columns of blue-painted ideograms, top to bottom, like a page of calligraphy. Scattered among them are terracotta seals and characters that break up the blue and define the pattern from a distance.
Near the rim, blue flowers and foliage form a band around the piece; at the base, a wave frieze completes the drawing. The rim is wide, flared outward and also painted, and it stays visible when the cachepot is on the floor or on a low piece of furniture.
Because it is hand-painted, the linework and placement of the motifs vary slightly from piece to piece.
Before choosing, measure the plant’s pot: it must be narrower than the cachepot opening, with clearance to insert and remove it without scraping the painted rim.
Wipe with a soft cloth, dry or slightly damp, and avoid abrasive cleaners and rough sponges that can scratch the paint. Porcelain is hard but brittle: protect the piece from impacts when moving furniture nearby.
Use a saucer under the plant pot so irrigation water does not pool at the bottom of the cachepot. On wood floors, felt under the base protects the surface.
The recommended use is as a cachepot: the plant stays in its own pot, with a saucer, and the set goes inside the porcelain. This way, swapping plants is simple and watering does not touch the piece.
The cachepot is 41 cm in external diameter and 25 cm high. Choose a pot narrower than the opening and up to the rim in height, leaving clearance to fit and remove it.
It is intended for indoor areas and covered verandas.
The painting is done by hand, so the drawing has small variations from one piece to another. The pattern, colors and measurements are the same.
Yes. The Han line is available in sizes I, II, III and IV, all with the same painting.
